All of that as prologue for this: I just spent a week driving the new 2007 GMC Yukon, a full-size SUV with three rows of seats and a trailer hitch, though the one I tested from the General Motors press fleet was equipped only with rear-wheel drive.

GM previously announced its first application of a full hybrid would be launched in late 2007 in two of GM's most popular full-size SUVs, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon.

As a result, buyers with trailers might also cross-shop the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition and Toyota Sequoia.
Throw in the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander as smaller crossover rivals and you're looking at a full day of car shopping.
