When Honda sets out to do something, you know it is going to do it well.
Honda Pilot's styling was inspired by an ultra-rugged laptop computer. It's clean, with flat, plain body panels and a boxy shape that serves usefulness as well as it caters to a tough, utilitarian image.
For 2006, the Honda Pilot midsize SUV gets several new features. There's a new trim level, the EX-L Navi, which adds a navigation system with bilingual voice guidance and recognition, and a rearview camera that broadcasts in the navigation screen.
The Honda Pilot's three-across third row is the most ambitious, making it the only eight-seater in our test. To access the Pilot's rearmost seating, the entire second-row seat slides forward on tracks, creating a narrow alley.
