Brits just don't get it when it comes to pick-ups, yet. In the US however for millions of urban cowboys, the pickup truck represents the rugged, pioneer spirit of the Western frontier. The what?
HSV has a long and proud history of tuning Australia's most popular large car that goes back about 20 years (just after Peter Brock was gently persuaded to move on after putting crystals in the engine bay) and has a huge cult following.

HSV had been building and shipping the Monaro, VXR, and the VXR8 over to the UK to be badged as Vauxhall for a long time. Its time to bring this into Australia and let us have this awsome car to be badged as HSV.

The brutish Vauxhall VXR8 launched in 2007, having started life as a Holden HSV Commodore. Now, it’s been under the knife - and Auto Express got the chance to test a pre-production car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
