I have driven Lincoln town cars since 1984 and have owned a total of 6. The Lincoln MKz cannot be compared to the ride and comfort of the towncar and the mileage per gallon is horrible.
We could have lived with a little bit less of the Platinum Package’s extra chrome trim on the grille as this is supposed to be a Toyota pickup not a Lincoln Town Car.
While the MKS does feel agile compared to the Lincoln Town Cars of yore, much of the competition has improved handling when compared to the compliant ride of the MKS.
No longer is the right rear seat the best place to sit in the Lincoln Town Car. Significant changes beneath the new sheetmetal skin of the 2003 Town Car make the left front the best seat in the house.

5 cubic feet of interior volume is comparable to that of large cars such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or Lincoln Town Car, though it certainly doesn't have the ambience of those cars. Much of that space is a function of the Cruiser's height.
So…..there's much evidence everywhere of Ford parentage, including under the bonnet:- plastification, urgh. The slab sided, (dated) black bird's eye maple dashboard reminds me of a pimp's 80's Lincoln town car and it also resembles plastic.
Its body is fibreglass formed in a mould taken from the original - enough for an official DC Comics licence. This is mounted on the chassis of a Seventies Lincoln Town Car and fitted with a modern GM V8.
sunroof and chrome rims - figure about $43,000 with all options - the Super is a perfect fit between an athletic American sedan like a Cadillac CTS and an equally American, yet completely unathletic highway cruiser like a Lincoln Town Car.
