Lotus Elite
Back in the day (1958 and 1974), Lotus made the Elite. The first was beautiful, the second was not. This one... well, it depends on the beholder. It's going to be a damn sight heavier thanks to a folding hardtop.
The Lotus Elite propels itself into supercar territory with a high level of power and performance. Under the hood of the Elite lies a monster 5.0 liter V8 engine developing 612 hp (456 kW / 620 PS) and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque.

Over the course of six years, my father owned a couple of Lotus Elite and an Eclat. I'm ashamed to admit the Eclat was one of the few with an autobox, but to this day, I cannot explain why.
