The Mazda RX-8 bulges with style if not grace. It's about the most aggressive shape possible in stamped steel. From the rear it looks good, with upswept lines and wide fender flares.
The extremely compact size of Mazda RX-8's rotary engine allowed engineers to place it more towards the centre of the vehicle, in a front-midship layout, which meant a 50/50 weight distribution over the front and rear axle.

I like to think so. Then again, maybe there's not, because the Mazda RX-8 prevailed again in the 2010 Rolex Grand-Am GT championship, and no sports car is more invisible on the street than the RX-8.
