When the Peugeot 406 coupe was new I came out of a shop to find an Italian staring at my test car enraptured. He said it was the most beautiful car he had ever seen, and when I told him it was built in Italy his heart swelled with pride.
Coming from a Peugeot 406, I find that the 9-3 has a lot of roadnoise and the steering is very twitchy and it has a much harder ride than the Pug’ but the handling and superb stopping power far outweighs these trivial matters.

Nor does it ride quite as cleanly as the Peugeot 406. But these are personal preferences, not faults per say. Being as I recently drove the old Mondi 1.
