The Plymouth Voyager will loose the sailing ship next year, it will become a Voyager. The current generation has been in production since 1996 and a new model is coming within a year.

The Chevrolet Astro was a rear-wheel drive minivan introduced by Chevrolet in 1985 to rival domestic (American) competitors the Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager twins and the Japanese Toyota Van.
The original Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager were essentially glorified K-cars, but that meant they were relatively cheap to design while being an unmitigated hit with family shoppers.
The van world changed irrevocably with the arrival of the Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager in 1983, and as minivans proliferated, full-size vans fell into disfavor with everyone except commercial customers.
