The Cayman S is good, so good it will have you wetting yourself with joy every time the road is dry and empty.
"I'd thoroughly enjoy receiving a 2009 Porsche Cayman S for the holidays. It'd make a great gift because, frankly, I can't afford one on my own.
The MINI has a similar wheelbase and track width to the Porsche Cayman, yet it's 30 inches shorter and weighs 200 lbs less. It may look like a grocery getter but it drives like a sports car. It's often described as having "go kart like" handling.

This is a hard one to explain, as it is really, really fast - fast enough to get from rest to 60mph a tenth of a second before a Porsche Cayman S - but somehow the combination of weight, ...
I don't got much money so I can't go out and buy myself an Audi R8, a Porsche Cayman (although I would sell everything I own to make a small down-payment for one) or even a Chevrolet Camaro.
And you might also try two other coupes with high performance intentions: the Nissan 350Z, not as fast but less costly, and the Porsche Cayman, lighter and more lithe (though .3 seconds slower 0-60) but much more expensive.

From outside, there's nothing that really shouts that this is the much-improved 2012 Evora. But a glance inside, or a short drive puts the matter beyond doubt. When we drove the original S we reckoned we preferred it to a Porsche Cayman.
Dynamically it's softer-edged than the new Porsche Cayman, the upside being better comfort over rough road surfaces.
