Detroit - Land Rover makes history today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, by unveiling its first ever concept show car, the Range Stormer.
The Range Rover Sport made its first appearance late in 2004, badged as the Range Stormer. This was a bright orange, low-slung, 3-door concept car, that hinted very heavily at the styling of the new model.
The exterior design is the work of the same Land Rover team that created the original Range Stormer. It includes new flush-fitting front and rear bumpers and a new larger open-mouth grille.
With so many on the roads it's easy to forget the Range Rover Sport's 'Range Stormer' concept car origins, but it still represents a more dynamic take on the classless Range Rover image and goes down well with reviewers, too.

Land Rover has been hinting towards a sporty - in the relative sense, obviously - three-door for a while now (remember the Range Stormer and LRX concepts?), but ARK has gone ahead and beaten them to it.
