After years of being driven in foreign motors, the man at number 10 has at last bought British. Premier Tony Blair's official car is one of these, the new 75 Limousine.

Rover 75 Cdti Car Review
Rover, a nameplate synonymous with the motor industry for one hundred years has revised its range of vehicles sold in Australia and introduced a diesel version into its model line-up.

Rover 75 Estate 1990
A brilliant motor car. I aquired it when in UK on an extended holiday in 1996 with 88000 on the clock. I have had it in Australia now for over 3 yrs. Other than having a problem finding an oil filter here I love this car!! ...

Much of the apparent athleticism is a function of the way in which the car's handling and road-holding characteristics have been designed to deliver dynamic stability.

The problem the Rover 75 has is that its qualities are a little alien to many people and most people in the executive sector tend to be attracted by the big established names like Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar.

Used Rover 75 Touring £5,000 for a good one
A lot of car for the money. Good ride and economical thanks to BMW 2.0-litre diesel. Beware of dubious power chipping and demand a service history.

The Rover 75 and the Jaguar S Type seemed satisfyingly retro (the Rover more so than the Jag) and, while the E46 3-Series was a pre-Bangled evolution of the E36, the one car that stood out as clean, fresh and new was the exquisite IS200.

Like the rest of the ZT range, the 260 replaces the Rover 75's wooden dash with a metallic grey one and uses lots of black trim and some heavily bolstered 'sports' seats to add to the performance image.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes but covered by the warranty. It has to be said it was all Ford stuff.Had a Rover 75 cdt from new and it was more reliable than the Jag.The jag is still a much more pleasing car.

the price tag puts it in competition with the mass of C-segment hatchbacks. It has the looks of contemporary design too: the slim headlights and good stance all help, although the pronounced curves and high waistline are a reminder of the Rover 75 ...

have purchased this from MG Rover, however the trademark has not been recorded as reassigned as of 17 July 2006. This is why Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas models are branded as Daimlers in Britain. The last Rover to use the Vanden Plas name was the Rover 75 ...
