The Skoda Roomster will pit its wits against established supermini-MPV vehicles - albeit of a bigger girth - like the Renault Modus and Scenic, and it immediately fares well in comparison thanks to its generous interior space and voluminous boot.
When you first look at the Skoda Roomster you think it's going to be another Berlingo. A very good combi-van utility-car kind of thing, yet still basically a van. Get behind the wheel, though, and it doesn't feel like that at all.

Skoda Roomster: The first leg of the Skoda launch had the gathered Australian motoring media eyeing off a garage full of Roomsters, and I'll be honest, I thought they looked odd.
The windowline, however, looks like a Skoda Roomster or a Nissan 370Z window! Ugh. But to be fair, the rulerphile Lagonda of the 70s was a minger too, so that makes sense.
