I was slightly hesitant about the 1.2 engine but soon realised there was nothing to worry about. She performs brilliant and doesn't feel sluggish at all. The wife loves it.

speed makes the Micra easy to handle on urban roads, especially as it has a tight turning circle, but wet weather road holding is below average, and this Nissan does not tackle corners with the enjoyable verve of the Ford Fiesta or the Suzuki Swift.
The only people to actually benefit from this will be people that only need tiny cars - £2,000 of the price of a Suzuki Swift (for instance) is a fair old discount. Even then, I'm massively dubious that many people will actually do this.
