Toyota Camry GXI v6 2.5 auto 1990
I bought one in Slough in may 2009, stood me at £430. Since then new cat 1 alarm, new alloys (£220), 82000 miles, sounds like a sewing m/c, drives great.

That's less money than a base Toyota Camry automatic ($24,990 plus $1,160) or a Honda Accord ($24,800 with manual transmission, plus $1,310), and those are both four-cylinder models.
