Emotional Intelligence Testing
Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability of an individual to understand his or her own emotions and the emotions of others.

 


Emotional Intelligence - Awareness of one's own feelings while having empathy and understanding for those of other people - and the relationship between the two.

Emotional intelligence is also a measure of our ability to assess a situation, change things if necessary and, thereby, create happiness for those around us. There is no set of standard rules to follow.

We sent promising managers to seminars to develop their emotional intelligence qualities. We had an extensive EAP system. We gave awards and rewards. We had 401K's and stock options. Yet our productivity was the lowest in 50 years.
