Characteristics that contribute to a professional image are businesslike attire, self-confidence, maturity, a sense of humor, warmth, and prompt, concise answers to questions. Arriving early makes a good impression.

The very sound of it delivers a jolt of self-confidence. Once you're in control of your finances, after all, you can do what it takes to reach your most important money goals. But don't be in a hurry.

You must believe in yourself and have complete self-confidence. In short, you must be totally aware of your own self-worth. It was my mother, Grace Girard, who instilled this in me and also taught me how essential it is to have self-respect.

Self-confidence, a firm handshake, appropriate attire, a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, good eye contact, and a smile are all ways of expressing yourself and developing a rapport with the interviewer. You can be perfect on paper.

You'll achieve greater job satisfaction and increase your sense of self-confidence at work if you trust your instincts and business intuition, increase your knowledge base and use your creative talents to help your company grow.

Assertiveness: In the high-tech world, people are rewarded for speaking up, promoting themselves, being ambitious and projecting self-confidence.

They can also create momentum and remarkable self-confidence. "I can't interview Tuesday because I'm consulting for Avon, but I could come over Wednesday," sounds much better than, "I haven't been working much since February--I can meet any time." ...

Treat Your Body Right
You will have more energy and self-confidence and be less susceptible to the physical side-effects of stress when you eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep and exercise regularly.
