Belly spot
A dark spot in the lower abdomen in cats with Siamese-points, which is coloured in the colour of the points.
A belly spot is considered as a fault.

This cat breed has short or long hair and belly spots are de rigueur. The cat's profile is "boxy" (blunt) and the ears are as you can see curled. As is the case for the American Curl the ears curl during the early days of the kittens growth.
They all have belly spots, with bar stripes around the legs, and sometimes down the back and tail.
Faults: belly spots and spots on the flanks; white hairs or brindling in the points; bars in the points (except in tabby points); tendency to squint.
Disqualifications: white toe or toes; any other than blue eye colour.
Color and pattern are difficult to distinguish and should not affect the judging of the cat. White lockets, buttons, or belly spots are allowed.

Lynx comes in many different colors, all the spotted colors from Black to Snow Leopards, Blue, Chocolate Copper, Silver. they also come in a coat pattern called a Clouded Leopard, which is a combination of Marble and Spots. All have belly spots.
