Bordetella (Kennel Cough): An Overview
Bordetellosis is a highly contagious bacterial disease of cats that causes mild to severe respiratory symptoms, especially in kittens and other cats with underdeveloped or weakened immune systems.
Bordetella and parainfluenza: For complete canine cough protection, we recommend Intra-Trac II ADT. For dogs that are shown, in field trials, or are boarded, we recommend vaccination every six months with Intra-Trac II ADT.
Bordetella bronchiseptica (B. bronchiseptica) is a bacterium that is commonly associated with respiratory disease in dogs. It can also infect cats, rabbits, and, in rare cases, humans.
