Bulls eye: A mark found on the sides of the body of classic (blotched) tabby pattern cats that is characterized by a solid, circular spot of darker coloring surrounded by a ring of darker coloring.

Vertical striping and/or classic bulls eye are undesirable. Cats with three or more shades; i.e., ground color, markings, and dark outlining of those markings are permissible, but single color dark markings on a light background preferred.
