The Chantilly/Tiffany has a long silky, deep coat.

The coat color is seal brown. The eyes are yellow to gold in color.

Canadian and U.S. breeder forsook Lund's preferred breed name for another that was not in use: the Chantilly. The Tiffany name is still in use with some cat fancies, but is typically combined as Chantilly/Tiffany.

Description / History
The Chantilly/Tiffany is a moderate-sized semi-foreign cat with a semi-longhaired, full coat and plumed tail. Its long ear tufts are one of the most striking features.

Chantilly/Tiffany cats are felines with a semi-foreign body style and a full semi-long coat. Their coat is silky, soft and smooth; the lack of undercoat usually makes grooming simpler than that of cats with an undercoat.

A: Since the Chantilly/Tiffany is a "semi-longhair", this breed requires considerably less upkeep than some of the longhaired breeds such as the Persian. The semi-longhair is silky, soft, smooth, and resists matting.

The Chantilly/Tiffany is a new variety, developed in North America from a pair of chocolate colored cats of unknown ancestry. It should not be confused with the British Tiffanie.

TICA and CFA don't register the Tiffany or Chantilly. This is a rare cat breed on my reckoning. The ACFA register the Chantilly as "EXP" (presumed to mean "experimental"). The Traditional Cat Association calls this breed "Tiffany/Chantilly".
