Don Sphynxs are highly intelligent and loyal to the owner. They say about Sphynxs, "They are not humans beings yet but they are not already cats." They are smart, waggish, very lively and behave themselves rather like children not like cats.

This is a type of coat in the Don Sphynx and Peterbald.
Usually Don Sphynx and Peterbald are nacked. But there is a coat type which has wavy, quite stiff short hairs, uneven and with bare patches on the head, the neck and the back.

The Peterbald's origins only go back to 1994 in Russia. A male Don Sphynx was crossbred with a female Oriental Shorthair, and gave birth to four Peterbalds.
