Epidemiology: The branch of medicine that deals with the study of the causes, distribution, and control of disease in populations.
Epidemiology - Is the study of the distribution and causes of health-related events (including disease epidemics), with the aim of tracking down their cause and thus control health problems.
Holly Nash received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota, and a Master's Degree in epidemiology (the study of the transmission, distribution, and control of disease) from the University of Wisconsin.
