FCV

FCV: Acronym for Feline Calcivirus, a virus that causes upper respiratory disease
Feline: Of or belonging to the family Felidae, which includes the lions, tigers, jaguars, and wild and domestic cats; felid.

FCV - Feline calicivirus.
Fecundity - Rate at which an cat (individual) produces offspring, usually expressed only for females .
FECV - Feline Enteric Coronavirus.

FHV= feline herpes virus (formerly called feline rhinotracheitis virus)

FCV is associated with chronic gingivitis (when the gums are red and inflamed). In some cats, FCV has been reported to cause a limping syndrome.

A rare and more severe form of feline calicivirus called virulent systemic feline calicivirus (VS-FCV) has been identified in several outbreaks. These outbreaks occurred where large numbers of cats were housed together, such as in shelters.
