FOREIGN WHITE (Longhair) GENERAL STANDARD The Foreign White Longhair is a semi longhaired cat, derived from the Siamese breed. Due to the coat length, the Foreign White Longhair appears to have softer lines and less extreme type.

Breed colours include; black, havana, red, blue, lilac, fawn, cream, caramel, apricot, foreign white, black tortie, chocolate tortie, cinnamon tortie, blue torite, lilac tortie, fawn tortie and caramel tortie.

Foreign Whites are basically Siamese without the point markings while the Havana is a warm brown in colour. The Javanese is the longhaired version of the Oriental - similar to the Balinese but without the colour points.
By crossing Siamese and European Shorthairs of different colors, breeders successively obtained chocolate, white (Foreign White), and blue Oriental Shorthairs.
