Hepatitis: Inflammation of the liver, caused by infectious or toxic agents and characterized by jaundice, fever, liver enlargement, and abdominal pain.

To provide the best response, a puppy needs multiple vaccinations for distemper, parvovirus and hepatitis until he reaches at least 16 weeks of age. He should be given one booster again when he reaches one year of age.

There seems to be some connection between chronic feline pancreatitis and concurrent inflammatory bowel conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and cholangiohepatitis.
