Special Requirements:
Burmese cats are low maintenance. A weekly groom will help remove loose hairs but this can also be achieved by regular stroking & petting.

LILAC: pale, delicate dove-gray with a slightly pink cast. Nose leather and paw pads: lavender-pink.

Lilac
The points range from a pinkish-gray to a pinkish-beige. The body has a warm magnolia color. The Colorpoint has a lavender colored nose and paw pads.

Lilac-Cream Lynx Point: Points that are a mixture of lilac and cream with an underlying tabby pattern.
Lilac-Lynx Point: Points that are gray with a pinkish cast and that have an underlying tabby pattern.

Lilac: Warm lavender with a pinkish, and not dull blue or grayish tone, is desired. The coat must be sound and even throughout. Darker almost bluish hair across the face is unacceptable. The nose leather should have a lavender hue.

The body of the lilac Tonkinese is pale dove gray with a pinkish cast, and the points are a darker shade of the same color. Kittens are often lighter than adults, although they should develop distinct prointing fairly early.

'Lilac' - warm lilac, sound to the roots with no shading, markings or white hairs. Smoke Exotic Shorthairs - The Smoke has a white undercoat with tipping of the appropriate colour to give maximum contrast. The undercoat is to be as white as possible.

TICA - refers to breed as Havana and accepts both Chocolate and Lilac colors
Grooming: Unless you plan to show your Havana Brown, it will require very little formal grooming. A good diet will keep the coat shiny and the cat will take care of bathing.

The Burmilla developed as a result of an accidental mating between a lilac Burmese and a silver Chinchilla in the 1980s in England.

The breed standard requires rich and lustrous colouration in blue, chocolate (which is the most well-known), cinnamon, lilac, and fawn, in both solid and tabby patterns. This, and a silky coat texture of appropriate length, make it a special cat.
