Lilac (Platinum) Burmese - The Lilac or Platinum Burmese is basically a dilute version of the Chocolate or Champagne variety of this breed. It is a pleasing, delicate shade of pinkish dove-grey.

CFA accepts the colors natural (seal), blue, champagne (chocolate) and platinum (lilac) in all three patterns. TICA recognizes cinnamon and fawn as well.
Grooming: Like all shorthaired cats, Tonkinese are wash-n-wear.

Though the original color of the American-type Burmese is solid sable brown, other colors (not recognized in all associations) include blue, champagne, platinum, and tortie colors.
