Point Color:
Seal: Points deep seal brown. Body an even pale fawn to cream, warm in tone, shading gradually into lighter color on the chest and stomach.

 


POINT COLOR: mask, ears, feet, and tail all densely marked, but merging gently into body color. Except in kittens, mask and ears should be connected by tracings. Nose leather color should correspond to the intensity of the point color.

Except for the point coloration and blue eyes, the Himalayan is quite similar to the Persian. In fact, it is sometimes referred to as a "Colorpoint Persian." It derives its name from the Himalayan rabbit, which possesses the same colorpoint.

Thais can have any point color and solid points, tabby points, tortie points, or torbie points. White markings are not permitted.

Clear contrast between point color and body color. Kittens are born solid white. The coat does not take on its adult coloring until one year of age.
The C.F.A. recognizes only four varieties:

The solid point colors are red. cream. blue-cream. lilac-cream. cinnamon. fawn and fawn-cream. The lynx point cats are seal. chocolate. blue. lilac. red. cream. seal-tortoiseshell. chocolate-tortoiseshell. blue-cream. cinnamon. fawn and lilac-cream.

Siamese were originally recognized in the solid seal, blue, chocolate, and lilac point colors.

Body color is a shade lighter than point color, and soft shadings of color are allowed on the body. No white patches are allowed. Mitted Ragdolls possess well-defined points, except on the feet where they have a matched set of white mittens.

In most associations, the Balinese is accepted in a full range of colors, including the four traditional Siamese point colors of seal, blue, chocolate, and lilac, as well as less traditional colors such as red and cream, ...

The coat of the Birman is long and silky, with the body a light golden color, and colored points. The dark brown, or seal point, is the most common. Accepted point colors in Birman s are cream, red, lilac, chocolate, seal, and blue.

Colorpoint
Mask, ears, legs, paws and tail are colored in one of the varieties mentioned below. The body is a little bit lighter than the Point color. Collar and bib are even lighter. Nose and paw pads have different colors in each variety.

Description
Javanese are Balinese with the addition of lynx and tortie points and point colors such as red and cream.

The accepted colors are also similar to the Siamese, being blue, chocolate, lilac and seal point colors. Point refers to the areas of the tail, paws, face and ears.

The Birman has what we think of as typical Siamese coloring - a cream colored coat with "points" of darker color on the face, ears, feet, and tail. However, Birmans differ from Siamese in that they have white "socks" on all four feet. Point colors ...

The breeders were striving to produce a solid-colored cat in the chocolate point coloring of the Siamese, rather than the sable coloring of the Burmese.

So they look much like Siamese cats except for their coats. The colorpoint shorthair's coat is fine and glossy, and lies close to the body. It comes in red point, cream point, lynx (tabby) point, and tortie point colors.
