Reward good habits
As a pet carer, there are certain good habits you can develop in your home along with a daily routine so she can distinguish between playtimes and quiet times.

 


Reward: Anything positive, such as treats or praise, that can be used as a motivating factor to induce desired behavior.

Reward your cat with treats every time it accepts being petted by you the first two or three days it is home. Praise the cat with your voice whenever you pet it after that.

Reward your cat by scratching her head (if she likes it!), giving her the very small piece of cooked chicken, and talking to her.
