Tortie Points:
Frost Tortie Point: The body should be milk white, mottling, if any, in the shade of the points. Cream and/or red mottling should show faintly on the ears and tail, mask and legs. A blaze is desirable.

Tortie Point: Colorpoints that include a tortoiseshell color pattern.
Tuck up: Underbelly of a cat, curving up into the haunches.
Tufted: Hair on the tips of the ears and or between the cats toes.

Tortie Point - points have tortoiseshell (multicolour) markings
Abyssinian Point - points are ticked (i.e. agouti)
Pastel Point - chinchilla/shaded silver tipped points (pale colour on silvery background) (Tipped Siamese) ...

SEAL-TORTIE POINT - pale fawn to cream body with points that are mottled red/cream seal point. CHOCOLATE-TORTIE POINT - milk chocolate points mottles with cream/red on a ivory colored body.

Tortie Point Birmans: Seal Tortie Point: the points are seal brown intermingled with shades of light and dark red; fawn body, shading unevenly to warm brown and/or pale red on the back and sides; seal brown and/or pink nose leather.

The Balinese can be found in seal point, blue point, lilac point, chocolate point, red point, tortie point and lynx point.

The only exception to this is found in breeds such as the Himalayan, Colorpoint Shorthair and Javanese, which allows the points themselves to be tricolored (what are called "tortie points"). But that's a whole other story.

This breed appears in the lynx point and tortie point patterns, as well as red and cream point colors.

Javanese are Balinese with the addition of lynx and tortie points and point colors such as red and cream.

Some appeared in litters of Colorpoint Shorthairs, most likely a result of the longhair gene being introduced via the domestic shorthair when the red, lynx and tortie point colors and patterns were first introduced to the Siamese breed.

In Britain, many other variations are accepted, some of which are the Caramel Point, Cream Tabby Point, Cinnamon Point, and Lilac Tortie Point. These additional color patterns are classified as Colorpoint Shorthairs in the U.S.

Different cat associations accept different colours, which include red (also known as flame), cream, fawn, caramel, apricot, cinnamon. These colours may also come in tabby (also known as lynx) & tortie point.

They have long, tube-shaped bodies, wedge-shaped heads and big ears, just like Siamese. Their coats come in a wider variety of colors and patterns than the Siamese cats, however: for instance, red point, cream point, lynx point, and tortie point.

But others (particularly those sticklers to the traditional Siamese color schemes) insist that the Colorpoint be considered a different breed. The Colorpoint Shorthair colors are beautiful, whether in red and cream, tabby or tortie points.
