Skin Tumors in Cats: An Overview

Tumors: Most nasal tumors are malignant. Complete surgical removal is very unlikely, so chemotherapy or radiation therapy must be considered. Unfortunately, many nasal tumors do not respond to either treatment, so the prognosis is poor.

Tumor: An abnormal growth of tissue resulting from uncontrolled, progressive multiplication of cells and serving no physiological function; a neoplasm.
