What Are Free Radicals?:
An atom or group of atoms that has at least one unpaired electron and is therefore unstable and highly reactive.

Free Radicals play an important role in a number of biological processes, some of which are necessary for life, However, because of their reactivity, these same free radicals can cause unwanted side effects resulting in cell damage.
