Herbal Phen-Fen

Herbal Phen-Fen is a brand name for a diet pill and supplement which contains the stimulant ephedrine.
Herbal phen-fens - named for their supposed weight-loss resemblance to the banned prescription drug combination of phentermine and fenfluramine - are by far the biggest sellers of herbal weight-loss supplements.
Herbal phen-fen- A combination of St. Johns Wort and Ma Huang (ephedra). There are no studies to show this works.
Ideal Body Weight- The weight appropriate for an individual that results in a body mass index of 20-25.
John's wort and ephedra are the two primary ingredients in herbal phen-fen. If you are taking St. John's wort, you should avoid tyramine-containing foods (for example, aged cheese, cured or aged meats, wines, etc.).
