The Protein Power Diet is very similar to the Atkins diet as both are very restrictive about carbohydrates.

Protein Power is authored by Dr. Michael and Dr. Mary Eades. Hormone Insulin, released by carbohydrates, causes health problems such as heart disease, high cholesterol, hypertension, fluid retention, diabetes and excessive weight.
