Overview
A usually slow-growing malignant tumor that that can occur in various parts of the body but is most often found in the pancreas, salivary glands, palate and upper lip.

Acinic cell carcinoma is a tumor most commonly found in the parotid gland. The disease presents as a slow growing mass, sometimes associated with pain or tenderness.

Acinic cell carcinoma
Acinic cell carcinoma, also known as acinic cell adenocarcinoma, is a malignant epithelial neoplasm in which the neoplastic cells express acinar differentiation.

Acinic cell carcinoma, a common parotid tumor, occurs in people in their 40s and 50s. This carcinoma has a more indolent course, as well as an incidence of multifocality.
