Alexia
Inability to read.
Despite acceptable vision and intelligence, children with this condition are unable to read. Sometimes referred to as "word blindness," alexia is a form of dyslexia.

Alexia refers to the inability to read, whereas agraphia refers to the inability to write. In receptive aphasia, the ability to understand spoken or written language is either partially or totally lost.
