B-cell lymphomas

Disease B-Cell LymphomaBeals syndrome

B-cell Lymphomas: A large group of lymphoma sub-types that are composed of malignant T-cells with features of B-lymphocytes.

B-cell Lymphomas Classified by Grade
Indolent (Slow-Growing) Lymphomas (also referred to as Low-Grade Lymphomas) ...

B-Cell Lymphomas
Common types of B-cell lymphoma include:
Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBLC). DLBCL is the most common type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, accounting for about 30% of all NHL cases.

B-cell lymphomas ... fever, night sweats
Baber's syndrome ... itching, darkened skin
Babesiosis ... fever, High fever, Rash
Baby bottle nipples induced allergies ... skin rash, burning sensation, itching, skin blisters, redness, hives ...

B-cell lymphomas include both Hodgkin's lymphomas and most non-Hodgkins lymphomas. They are often divided into indolent (slow-growing) lymphomas and aggressive lymphomas.

B-cell lymphomas can also involve the skin, with Hodgkin's disease being the most common. B-cell lymphoma involvement of the skin is usually manifested by the development of one or more red-brown nodules.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphomas* (including mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma and primary effusion lymphoma)
Burkitt's lymphoma*

[179] These types of aggressive extranodal B-cell lymphomas are characterized by translocation and deregulation of the C-myc gene on chromosome 8.

Nearly 90% of NHLs are B-cell lymphomas. There are 14 types of B-cell lymphomas.

B-cell lymphomas usually occur in adults and may be either indolent (slow-growing) or aggressive (fast-growing). There are many different types of B-cell lymphomas, and prognosis and treatment depend on the type and stage of cancer.

Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody drug that specifically kills B-cell lymphomas. It is synergistic with chemotherapy, meaning that the two types of medications work better together.

There are two main types of lymphocytes: the T cell and the B cell. Lymphomas develop from these two types. B-cell lymphomas are more common among adults, while among children, the incidence of T- and B-cell lymphomas are almost equal.

Human herpesvirus 8: A herpesvirus that contributes to the development of Kaposi sarcoma, an otherwise rare form of cancer sometimes seen in AIDS patients, and to some B-cell lymphomas. The predominant route of HHV-8 transmission is sexual.

Most non-Hodgkin lymphomas are B-cell lymphomas, and either grow quickly (high-grade) or slowly (low-grade). There are 14 types of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas.

Immune deficiency disorders. Immune system disorders, such as HIV/AIDS, increase the risk of NHL, especially the aggressive B-cell lymphomas.

The syndrome shows striking similarities with human aids and is characterised by lymphadenopathy, profound immunosuppression, enhanced susceptibility to opportunistic infections, and B-cell lymphomas.
