What is blood in the semen?
The presence of blood in the semen (ejaculate) is also called hematospermia. Hematospermia is an uncommon condition.

Sometimes, there is a discharge from the urethra and blood in the semen. Ejaculation can be painful.

Is there painful urination (dysuria), a discharge from the penis, blood in the semen, or cloudy urine (pyuria)?
Does individual have a high fever? Is the testicle or scrotal sac warm, tender to the touch with the scrotal skin reddish in appearance?

Sometimes the biopsy may lead to complications (such as blood in the semen or urine) or infection. About 2 out of 3 men who have a prostate biopsy will not have prostate cancer.

There might be a slow urination release or you might not be able to urinate completely and may also require exerting some pressure. There might also be some blood in the semen or in the urine.
