A bronchial adenoma is a type of tumor in the windpipe (trachea) or large airways of the lung (bronchi) that usually blocks the airway.

Lung: a chronic or bloody cough, fever, chills, and shortness of breath can indicate a bronchial adenoma.
Early resection may be indicated for bronchial adenoma or carcinoma. Broncholithiasis (erosion of a calcified lymph node into an adjacent bronchus) may require pulmonary resection if the stone cannot be removed via rigid bronchoscopy.
Thoracic cancers include breast cancer, bronchial adenomas, bronchial carcinoid tumors, pleuropulmonary blastoma, esophageal tumors, thymomas and thymic carcinomas, tumors of the heart, and mesothelioma.
