Carcinoid syndrome is a group of symptoms associated with carcinoid tumors -- tumors of the small intestine, colon, appendix, and bronchial tubes in the lungs.

Carcinoid syndrome refers to the array of symptoms that occur secondary to carcinoid tumors.[1] The syndrome includes flushing and diarrhea, and, less frequently, heart failure and bronchoconstriction.
