CHARGE Syndrome
The name of this unusual syndrome is based on the first letters of several prominent features comprising the clinical picture. There is wide variation in the severity of the signs and symptoms ranging from mild to life-threatening.

 


What is CHARGE syndrome?
CHARGE syndrome is a disorder that affects many areas of the body.

Individuals with CHARGE syndrome are typically delayed in development-motorically, intellectually, and physically. Some individuals do not reach puberty until 20 years of age.
