What is concussion?
Concussion is an injury to your brain that can occur after a blow to your head (a head injury). The blow to your head causes your brain to move slightly within your skull.

Concussion, or mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI), is the most common and least serious type of traumatic brain injury. Concussion involves a transient loss of mental function.
