Hypertropia
A muscle imbalance in which one eye is straight and the other is turned upward.

Hypertropia and hypotropia are less common than esotropia and exotropia.
Squints can also be:
apparent at all times (constant), or
only apparent at certain times (intermittent).

Esotropia and exotropia are more common than hypertropia and hypotropia.

An eye that turns inwards is called an esotropia.
An eye that turns outwards is called an exotropia.
An eye that turns upwards is called a hypertropia.
An eye that turns downwards is called a hypotropia.

Exotropia or out-turning eyes. This is also known as walleye, or divergent eyes.
Finally, in Hypertropia there is vertical strabismus, meaning the eyes are out of alignment vertically.
