Cutaneous larva migrans is a cutaneous eruption caused by the intracutaneous wanderings of a larva, most commonly the cause of dog hookworm, Ancylostoma braziliense.
It is passed to humans through contact with infected soil.
Visceral larva migrans is caused by worms (parasites) that infect the intestines of dogs and cats. The dog parasite is called Toxocara canis and the cat parasite is called Toxocara cati.
Cutaneous larva migrans (also known as creeping eruption) is a skin reaction to infestation by the nematodes (hookworms or roundworms) that usually infect dogs and cats.

Ocular larva migrans
Ocular larva migrans is the least common but potentially most serious type of toxocariasis. The condition can develop if the roundworm parasites move into the eyes.
Ocular larva migrans (OLM): This syndrome, also called ocular toxocariasis, usually has no or very mild systemic manifestations. OLM lesions consist mostly of granulomatous reactions to a larva in the retina; the larva may cause visual impairment.
