Mantle cell lymphoma

Disease MansonelliasisMaple Syrup Urine Disease

Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is one of the rarest of the non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHLs), comprising about 6% of NHL cases.[1] There are only about 15,000 patients presently in the U.S.

What is Mantle cell lymphoma?
Lymphoma is divided into 2 broad groups: Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma has many subtypes - and one of them is Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Mantle cell lymphoma itself is considered a poor prognosis in patients with aggressive types of NHL, with an average survival of only two to three years.

Mantle cell lymphoma. This is an aggressive subtype that makes up 7% of all NHL cases. It most often appears in people over age 60.

mantle cell lymphoma An aggressive (fast-growing) type of B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that usually occurs in middle-aged or older adults.

Mantle cell lymphoma
Mantle cell lymphoma is found in lymph nodes, the spleen, bone marrow, blood, and sometimes the gastrointestinal system (lymphomatous polyposis).

Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Mantle cell lymphoma is an aggressive type of lymphoma that represent about 7% of NHL cases. It is a difficult type of lymphoma to treat and often does not respond to chemotherapy.
