Miliaria profunda
This is uncommon. It is caused when the blockage of the sweat ducts occurs at the level of the dermis (middle layer of skin).

Milia occur when dead skin becomes trapped in small pockets at the surface of the skin or mouth. They are common in newborn infants and appear as pearly white bumps, most commonly across the upper cheeks, nose, and chin.

What are milia?
A milium is a small cyst containing keratin (skin protein); they are usually multiple and are then known as milia. These harmless cysts present as tiny pearly-white bumps just under the surface of the skin.

Lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei is an eruption consisting of discrete yellow-brown to pink dome-shaped papules on the face and elsewhere that show a characteristic granulomatous histology.

Miliary TB
Miliary TB is a rare form of active disease that occurs when TB bacteria find their way into the bloodstream. In this form, the bacteria quickly spread all over the body in tiny nodules and affect multiple organs at once.

Milia is a rash characterized by numerous pinhead-size, raised, white dots on the face, especially on the nose. The white dots are skin debris and need no treatment.

Miliary tuberculosis is when the bacteria spread and cause small foci of infection throughout the body ("millet seed" appearance, hence the name miliary).
