Mysophobia is an intense fear of dirt and uncleanliness. It is typically associated with a fear of contamination with germs; some people call it 'germaphobia' as a result.

 


Mysophobia: fear of disease or contamination.
Monophobia: fear of being alone.
Neurotransmitter: A chemical released from nerve endings that transmit impulses from one nerve cell to another or to a muscle.
