OPHTHALMIA NEONATORUM
Ophthalmia neonatorum is a form of conjunctivitis that occurs in the first few (usually four) weeks of life. Causative infectious agents can be present in the birth canal.

Neonatal conjunctivitis, also known as conjunctivitis of the newborn , newborn conjunctivitis and ophthalmia neonatorum , is an eye infection of the newborn acquired during the passage through the birth canal.
