Rumination syndrome is a condition in which people repeatedly spit up (regurgitate) small amounts of food from the stomach, rechew it and then either reswallow the food or spit it out.

 


Rumination syndrome is a rare disorder in which the child eats meals normally, but after about an hour or two, undigested food comes back up into his or her mouth.
