Trouble sleeping, excessive sleeping, or daytime sleepiness ...

A history of being physically abused

Feelings of worthlessness, sadness, or self-hatred

Thoughts about suicide or obsessive fears or worries about death ...

Ego-driven inner shame, fear and self-hatred often take the form of projected criticisms and condemnations along with "deserved" punishments.
